    Hi all,

I thought we played well last night. Frustrated and contained Palace for the majority of the game. Wiseman looked good, and threatening at times and I think it would be fair to say he was one of our most threatening players (worrying, I know).

Done had a good game as well, finding gaps and running at the defence. Came close to scoring a few times, but it just seems like we're missing that cutting edge in front of goal. I find it so strange that in previous performances this season, we have been more clinical in front of goal, but Davies just didn't look like scoring to be honest. Saying this, it baffles me why he is playing Davies on the wing for 80mins of the match when he's best at holding up the ball and letting the wingers get up field.

Nouble - Why? Just simply WHY?!? What do managers see in him? First Robins, and now King Keith! I just don't understand. He must be putting in plenty of effort on the training ground to get picked every week! I know the squad is a bit stretched at the min, but I recall him giving the ball away at least 7 or 8 times last night when we were in a good position. I can't help but this if we had a decent delivery into the box, we might have done something!

Overall, we played well. The style of football is frustrating to match and a bit nervy at times and I think we should be pushing forward a lot more than we do! Nice to see Bruce Dyer in the Barnsley enclosure last night as well. :)

Can't help thinking that Saturdays match against Pboro is vital now!

    Keep the faith!!!

    Thanks for the report.

I agree with you on Nouble - waste of space and Craig Davies is far more effective when played through the middle.

Well you were at the same game as me. I must be missing something about Wiseman. I though he was better than against Reading but I wouldnt have said he looked good (but interestingly talking to a palace fan on the train after he said the same as you) but otherwise I agree with you especially regarding Noble and even more especially

I had last night down for 0-0 on predictor, which was one of only two points I could see us getting for the rest of the season. The other was 2-2 with Posh on Saturday. That had better now turn into a win!! Posh score goals, though!!!
