My thoughts to get them going

all contracts from now on should be emphasised on performance and results, and not based more on the weekly.

ie someone who earns 2K per week. Should have a contract that is 1K per week maybe and the other 1K based on a performance. or to that effect.

the following would be a good basis for the bonus part:

Defenders bonused on clean sheets and wins (50/50)
midfielders on clean sheet/assists/wins (1/3 each)
strikers on Goals/assists/wins (1/3 each)

maybe this will get people to EARN their money

Anyone else think this would be good, or bad?

 

Problem is that most decent players have more than one club after them. Other clubs will guarantee the money so they'll go there.

but at least we now we will have players willing to work and earn extra, which is sadly lacking at the mo

There'll already be a bonus scheme in place for cup wins, play offs etc.
