I'll be honest, I thought we were *****. We got nowhere near them at all first half and I've still not worked out what formation we were playing!! Chris O'Grady on the left just doesn't work, I think the theory is that he comes inside and doesn't get picked up but he ended up playing pretty much along with Kennedy for most of it. On a similar note I don't know where Jennings was meant to be either, he appeared to be a striker/attacking midfielder but drifted wide sometimes. I'm not sure he knew what he was meant to be doing either tbh. Anyway, whatever we were playing it didn't work as we barely had a touch of the ball. When we did get it Doncaster look very shaky at the back and we scored a fluke after a shocker from their keeper. Doncaster didn't really produce much in the final third until Steele gifted them a goal. They should've had a penalty and we should've not had our goal disallowed so it evened itself out. Second half started like the entire first half, awful. We were nowhere near them again, I've not seen us close down as little as that in a long time. They took the lead and deserved it. After that we started to work harder and played with some impetus, mainly provided by O'Brien and the fact that O'Grady was now up front so we kept hold of it better. We started to dominate and show Doncaster's defence for what they are, crap. Nick nearly should've scored with a header which he headed too much into the ground but it was a good save to be fair. Then Paddy came on, wow he's still magical. He produced an incredible run and tee'd up O'Brien which got cleared. We then got the throw in, got the ball across the box and Nick scored his second of the game with a classy finish. Although we got a point, we only played anything like for half an hour. Other than that we weren't at the races at all. Doncaster are a terrible team and we showed we were more than a match when we finally got going, it's just a shame it was almost too late. Finally, D'Urso is ****ing useless. My god he's a terrible referee, missed a blatant pen for them from 5 yards away for some reason. Then he disallowed Cranie's goal and I have no idea why, the only reason I can think of is that he knew he'd got the penalty decision wrong so he didn't give it. Other than that though he was just generally useless, Cranie got a yellow card when he got the ball but then one of theirs rugby tackles Hunt on the half way line and no yellow. I could give plenty of examples he was just terrible, but we already know that.
