    As you have read from my previous thoughts you may have noticed I wasnt Simon Daveys biggest fan, but I want to go on record and say thankyou for the following.

    Keeping Barnsley in the championship for 3 yrs
    The FA cup Semi Final
    Breaking the Wednesday Duck

    I felt he took the club forward as much as he could, and hope the next manager builds on what he as left behind the scenes such as bringing in science into the football club

    Well Said Dave! He did bring some quality players to the club as well as the odd duffer just a shame he didn't have the ability to gel them together.
