As going to wait til the morning but I've cooled down now. 1. John Stones - yes he might be a good player but he needs dropping, been giving the ball away far too often recentley, also at fault for the goal today. Think he is overconfident after his great start to the season. 2. Etuhu - Can't grasp what he offered or will ever offer, he doesn't work, he doesn't tackle, he doesn't jump, I could go on. 3. Quick free kicks - We got a free kick on the halfway line and we passed it back across the midfield and then lo and behold Steele has the ball. 4. Too slow - its all good and well passing it about but were so slow we don't even cause them the slightest problem, we don't have any creativity, think we had 3 shots today? 5. Not having ago - Im not fussed about the final result away from home, for me it's the manor in which we play and we don't seem to want to win matches. It's back to the Simon Davey let's go for a nil nil. And we all know how well that worked for him. 6. Formation - what was it? Steele Stones Foster Wiseman Goulbiurne Dawson Etuhu Perkins Done Crainie Cywka What's that about? No structure. 7. How fickle can we get? I'm not happy with how things are going at all. But we have got to keep faith in the side otherwise things will get worse and worse. Lets try and keep backing the lads, and see if they can muster up some team spirit, and make sure we don't go down with a whimper.
Sorry but I thought Hull were pretty average today the key in this league is a lack of quality up front. The defence were ok today Steele produced 3 0r 4 excellent saves Dawkins worked his socks off and Silva made an encouraging subs appearance its going to be tough but the cause is far from lost.
I agree with the dropping of stones, cracking player but needs to regroup I think. Very strange afternoon. Should we have had a striker on the pitch I think we could've got somet from game. I like Keith hill massively and what he's trying to do with the club but today he got it wrong, it doesn't make him a bad man like some knob heads on here think, he'll not be first or last manager to get something wrong. If we keep playing poor he'll get sack if we start playing better and stay up he'll keep his job, its what's known as simple in my book.
I agree with most of it,I think Stones could be ready for a rest,I don't think Hill got it too wrong,Marlon seems so poor now I think he was right to give Etuhu a chance....I thought the lad played reasonably well in an unfamiliar role, first half the execution was just too slow and losing Mellis and Perkins doesn't help,I agree totally about the striker issue, with Davies available we could have got something on our second half performance.
