I didn't expect a thing tonight, but sat here now I'm disappointed we didn't take all the points. We were excellent, especially in the first half and should have been two or three ahead by half time. Second half they came at us but we still looked good going forward. Defence and keeper were excellent throughout, and from the looks of things it looks like Paul Reid's days could be numbered. As for going forward... well. JCR superb, lacking a final ball sometimes but had their defence **** scared. Howard/De Silva/McCann all great as well. Odejayi seemed to be good at holding the ball up, but when he was in the area he simply didn't look like scoring. Stan didn't do too badly but again, didn't look like scoring. Neither of them seems to be a natural goalscorer, and I'm beginning to wonder if resting Stan and bringing Mostto back in may work. Overall though, great performance. We passed it about and made Stoke look poor at times. They could argue we were lucky with one or two of their chances in the second half (hitting the bar and that guy somehow putting it over with basically a free shot on goal), but it's a great point and something else to build on.
