      @Andy__White @footballheaven We addressed that with Danny before. He suggested he wasn't the type of player needed for a relegation battle.

    Asking constantly about Paddy McCourt is no different to last season when they were criticised for constantly asking about Bobby Hassell. Wilson has made his feelings known, and if I remember rightly it wasn't too long ago that we were all clambering for McCourt to be a cameo sub when the opposition have tired legs?

    If Donny/Wigan is anything to go by, maybe he's about to start getting more game time.

    Aye, I suppose it's been answered previously. Just annoys me that he can't get a start.

    As for me personally, I've never clamoured for Paddy to be used as a sub. Never. I've made it clear he's more effective when starting. In fact, most fans of Paddy believe that as well. I don't agree with only putting him on for 10, 20 minutes when we're losing.

    There was a time though (which seems like an eternity ago) where there appeared to be a general consensus that we should consider playing him in the latter part of the game rather than the beginning, as he was only ever lasting 55 minutes anyway and he'd have more success.

    I don't really have an opinion on McCourt or anything at the moment. Think we've looked solid since Danny came in, better defensively and better offensively than in the past. I wish McCourt had featured more because he's exciting and could have turned some of those points in to wins, but coming off the bench I think he's a real threat. The opposition can't setup to mark him out of the game, they don't know when he's going to come on, and they're more fatigued.

    I still think McCourt and Pederson could keep us up. Big roles to play for me.

    I'd like him to at least ask if Paddy is fit for Saturday after being clattered on Tuesday night, but as the Dee Dar presenters are only interested in pointing out to Danny how much running and effort the likes of JOB provide, or talking about Wigan (in a Barnsley fecking press conference) for 11.5 minutes, i'm not expecting this to be brought up.

    Yes when you're in a relegation battle the last thing you need is someone who can open up a defence and create scoring opportunities!

    A great player paddy but like many of our team, soft as ****. Had we not already used all 3 subs against Wigan I have no doubt he would have gone off injured. instead he limped about looking like he had been shot in the leg for the rest of the game.

    Im not even sure he wants to play, how often has he gone off injured before or just after half time when hes started

    Don't get why you're annoyed with Giddings. He's gonna look a right pillock asking the same questions again.

    Paddy's not got 90 minutes in him unfortunately & that's why he's not starting. He's never been a 90 minute player all his career. It's a shame but he's either not got the dedication to get fit enough or he's simply not naturally fit enough to do 90 mins.

    He should be used off the bench but when he's got the time to have a major impact on the game unlike at Donny where he only got 10 mins & only had the time for one good run

    Whitey, Ask him to ask Wilson why he played young McClaughlin when every one could see the lad was not fit. He could have played Nyatanga and moved Kennedy over. They murdered us down the lads flank and he could not keep up with the pace. He may now be out longer through that bad decision. It was a bad call and he is making one or two lately. Cheers

    Not annoyed with Giddings. But his last interview never mentioned Paddy. I sat through his interview on Monday with Danny and suffered over 11 minutes of him talking about Wigan, Wigan Warriors, Rugby League, Danny's early career etc. I'm not ******* interested in any of that. I'm already aware of Danny's career, I know Wigan is a Rugby town, and I know they won the FA Cup last year. I listen to those interviews in the hope of getting Danny's thoughts on Barnsley FC, our players, our aspirations etc. I'm looking for him to fill me with confidence. And so when Giddings asks via twitter for questions to ask Danny, and gets a load of tweets saying "why isn't Paddy starting?" then I think it's a bit pathetic of him to suggest he's already asked that. He may have done, but things change. Once more, we've seen others start and fail in that same position so I think it's a relevant question.

    I'm not annoyed with him. I just think his response was flippant. He asked people via twitter on Monday to put some questions forward to Danny, and not one reds fan asked "when did Wigan win the FA Cup?" or "is Wigan a Rugby or Football town?" and certainly never suggested he ask Danny if he was a Rugby man.

    Wish it was Paul Wa*ker or Rob Staton doing the interview. Both are interesting to listen to and will ask searching questions. Giddings bottled it after Flicker threatened to ban Radio Sheffield last season following the Hassell questions.

    Having watched a lot of us this season, I'm not sure many of our lads have 90 minutes in them. And just because he can only (in your opinion) last 50, 60 minutes, that doesn't make him only worth a sub role. And, that isn't the reason he isn't starting. Danny apparently told Giddings it's because he's not needed in a relegation battle. However, we must need Brek Shea. Brek ******* Shea.

    We are in a relegation battle, confidence must be low.

    So if I was a Barnsley player and witnessed one of my teammates skin 3 opposition players (with ease, almost as if he is taking the piss) then it would give me a lift. Maybe the belief that we also have good players who are capable of winning football matches.

    If Danny thinks Brek Shea is the sort of player we need in a relegation battle, then fair enough. I just don't think he causes the opposition defense enough problems, especially for a winger. But if he finds a 2nd gear against Millwall, then I will be absolutely delighted.

    Id like him to explain how we are any better off with shae v mccourt as neither of them do a great deal defence. So you play your best attacker and thats paddy.

    Why the constant moaning about who the manager picks? Danny Wilson is in charge of the football club and I trust him to make the decisions, the ones he feels is good for the team - I don't care what some bloke from the east stand/west stand/ponty thinks I trust dannys judgement.
