Well my calculations went down the plug 'ole when the goalie got sent off. No argument about that. However Preston weren't up to much and only scored because the sub goalie dived and punched the ball straight into the face of Actionman (or whatever his name was) and the ball rebounded into the net. The rest of the first half was really one way traffic but Preston didn't have much idea. The seconf half was a bit better and Barnsley had their first shot on target on the hour. They woke up a bit after that and could have equalised but the Preston Goalie was lucky the have the ball hit his legs and bounce out. At the time he hadn't a clue where the ball was as he had dived and missed it. Overall not a very good spectacle but in the second half Barnsley were reasonable and showed a bit of fight.I was struck by the looks of the sub goalie. He is a big lad with the glowering latin looks. He would not be out of place in the Godfather and resembles closely the guy who slashed his wrists in the bath. Hapless Hammer
