I don't want to repeat other views, which are all pretty accurate. * foggy as hell on the way over from Skipton, was fearful of it not going ahead * ale at £1.55 a pint is a rare joy, spoiled by the fact I was driving so only had the one * nice fish and chips, despite a queue back to the pleasure beach and them cooking to order. * nice ground, poor pitch * over the years people have told me Barnsley folk could argue with their own shadow. Too many yesterday wanted to argue with their own shadow and fellow fans. A very petty away following when we take a lot. * empty ground made for a flat atmosphere. * we have players who want to start every game, not a bad attitude to have but common sense dictates there is a time to rest them. Winnall is one who should have rested. * I liked their #8 , fair haired big lad * all the stewards were the same ones as home matches. Did we take our own or do Blackpool use Doyles? * white was pants first half. Better second * Bree more of an outlet but usually ran into trouble * Scowen has taken stick but I thought he did OK. Admit he gave it away a bit. * Hammill needs a shot of confidence. He can achieve that by knuckling down, not by blaming anyone but himself * there WAS booing at the end. Hope the players understood this was made worse by genuine fans booing the boo-ers. * I didn't see Winnall storm off, but I did see him hands on hips shaking his head at the booing. * I got home about the same time I get home from a home match. Bonus. We are 8th in the league and still in the FA cup. Last January we still had one eye on the trap door to League 2. I think that should be explained to the fair weather few who offered their 'support' yesterday. Onwards and upwards. Sent via Royal Mail and typed up by my Tapatalk byatch
I would have booed the booers but I've only been to every home games and 3 away games this season so not sure if I'm classed as a genuine fan....
Hope you get you club back I've said it in other threads but been bloomfield road plenty times always enjoyed the ato sphere and banter but Saturday was poor atmosphere and my least enjoyable visit to the ground... even behind the time wiseman scored a og late on. It was eye opening having seen the ground almost full to that on Saturday. Good luck hope you get new owners and climb the table to be fair you looked a decent well organised side for league 2.
