Whilst points are still to be won belief has still to be there.Unfortunately my belief was shook to the core at Watford.I'm a positive person and I like to see the good in people and situations but Saturday seemed to kill my hopes.Make no mistake the performance was as poor in anything we've done since getting promoted to the Championship. No shape ,no belief,no bravery it just seemed the team came out expecting to lose and rightly did so.We've let players go and replaced them with so called better players but we are a team without spirit and soul.A win on Saturday is an absolute must but we can't afford to come out defeated before a ball is kicked.

Well BMW, if you cannot see any positives then things really are as bad as I feared.
You usually bring some sense of realism to this board and your views are well respected.
I think you're right about this Saturday too. A win over Bournemouth is absolutely essential or our fate is as good as sealed.

Agree with that. Saturday knocked all hope I had. My mate's lad was the mascot and they went in the dressing room prior to the game. He said they were not 'up' for it and that there was no buzz in the dreesing room. May as well start with Digby and RNL on Saturday, we have nothing to lose.

I agree BMW, and I said the same on Saturday night, it wasn't that we lost to a fairly average team (who didn't even have to get out of second gear to beat us) it was the look of "lost before we start" on all their faces that disturbed me, and I think that got through to the fans, hence the fact that many were chanting 'what a load of rubbish' before we had even hit the 20 minute mark. I think that was more down to the players lack of fight/interest/commitment to the cause than the fact that we had gone 1-0 down so quickly in the game.

Massive, massive improvement in attitude/approach required before/on Saturday, before Danny even starts thinking about team selections/tactics etc.

As soon as mvoto sliced a easy clearance for a corner , I knew what sort of game we would play . No energy. , no class and no effort in team at moment . Hoping Danny's bollocking Saturday may shake things up . Let's get a few young ones who at least will try , and time to pick a team to attack. , because our defenders can't defend

Well, I had the misfortune to go to Watford LAST season. Was it worse than that?

By christ if BMW can't find anything to be positive about, Ben Mansford might as well lock up oakwell, send the players home and stand outside the Football League waving a white flag.

I missed Watford last season so can't say for certain but I will be very surprised if it wasn't worse. BMW stated it's the worst he has seen since we got back in the championship and I can agree it was the worst I have seen since Parkin took us down last time in fact it really reminded me of those performances when the players just went through the motions knowing they were going down and not really caring most depressed I have been leaving a match for years and we had some bad performances under Davey and Hill but not like Saturday

I went to both games, and yes this was much worse. It's the worst performance I can remember us putting in.
