A pleasant day spent in the Family stand with the seven-year old and a lifelong mate (Leeds fan) and his son. A few observations ....

Good atmosphere at times(to be expected in a derby).

Negative at times (booing at half time).

In McKindoe, Howard and Nardiello we have three class acts we should nurture and cherish.

Rest of team are real tryers and going in the right direction

Tommy Wright has had his fair share of criticism and although far from the finished article, he put a hell of a lot into Saturday.

Nardiello was like a man on a mission - lots of skill and effort and looked like he is desperate to get back into the bigger picture. Long may it continue. Class moments.

Leeds were there for the taking. I don't think I have seen a worse Leeds team.

When we play football sensibly, we are good at it, ie consolidate the pass-and-play stuff and move away from all-out attack.

Paul Reid played well but an old-head in that defence will help us.Not sure Morgan is the answer but I'll reserve judgement.

I feel reasonably confident we can get out of trouble but as EI Addio said in another post this morning we have a tough match to come and I hope the justified good feeling of this morning doesn't degenerate into the negative claptrap seen on here in recent weeks.

All in all, well done on Saturday Reds, well played, well managed and in the end well deserved.
