    --------------Steele
    --------Craine M'Voto Nyatanga
    Wiseman ----------------------Golbourne
    -----------Perkins Etuhu----------------
    ---------------Mellis--------------------
    -----------O'Grady Dagnall--------------

For me its crucial to have one of Etuhu or Digby in there. As good as daws and perks are, last season they struggled without the physical presence of Etuhu.

I'd go with that starting line up and formation, too.

    3-3-2-2 formation?!

Kin ell. Sky Sports analysis and that Football Manager game have a lot to answer for.

    Isn't that 3-5-2?

I'd go with the same line up as redarmychris, but I'd bring that Goldbourne that some folk post about in for Scott Golbourne.

I'm not sure we'll see Mellis and Jennings with 2 strikers in the same starting line up too much this season.

I agree with that, as long as M'Voto gets 90 minutes tomorrow in a 3-5-2.

Otherwise I think it's asking a bit too much of M'Voto for him to play his first game of championship football, with teammates he's only just met, in a formation he'll probably never have played in before, up against a player who's been playing regularly in the premier league for the last couple of seasons.

It will certainly be a test for him either way. After only seeing him play for 45 minutes I don't know whether he'll be up to it yet.

I think it's naive to suggest one formation. The best managers of the best teams in the world are even suiting their style of play to match or better the opposition. Even Spain manager Vicente Del Bosque is willing to change to make sure his Spanish side are still the best in the world as teams are showing they know how to play him i.e England in a friendly and Brazil in the Confederations Cup.

I wonder if flicker knows his best eleven yet or still working it out , be good to see how mellis and Jennings play together , as attacking wise it would be a good combination

I think that would be the best way to get them both in the same team.

All being well, and current injured players allowing, in a 3-5-2:

    ------------------------Steele

    -------Hassell----------M'Voto--------Cranie

    Wiseman--------------------------------Golbourne
    ---------------Dawson---Perkins

    ---------------------Mellis

    -------------Dagnall-----O'Grady

Alnwick, Nyatanga, RNL, Cywka, Scotland, Kennedy, Jennings.

(wow.. no place for Jim O'Brien or McNulty.. good depth even without Diggers/Yaya)
