He promised his young lady that he would take her down to Essex to the wedding of one of her uni friends, friends. Nice. The girls would be re-united and they would introduce boyfriends. Friendships strengthened and the circle widened. Nice.

It was months ago and he didn't think to check the dates.

He has tried to get out of it but he just didn't know what he was messing with.
