Funny that after signing all those other strikers and getting little reward Davey first hopes Coulson can do a job and now brings in another of Ritchies signings to do the job that should been sorted out by all the players Davey brought in. But to most fans it shows how great he is cos he aint holding a grudge. Oh well done Simon. To me it shows what a poor manager he is in that it takes several attempts to find a striker who can score then relies on a former managers signings. If it pays off then Simon is wonderful and he gets all the credit. If it doesnt i wonder what the next excuse his supporters will come up with? Unbelievable! Dont get me wrong i like Nads but he comes across as one of those players you know has talent but never seems to play to his full potential but the pressures on him and Davey now! What would impress me is if he gets Macken back and gets shut of the dross he has brought in!
In actual fact.. Although Ritchie signed Nards on a permanent basis, it was Gudjon that brought him to the club in the first place. And what a breath of fresh air he was.
why doesit show he is a poor manager? simon wanted nards in the summer . he chose to go else where so simon had to buy other strikers , sure they havent come off for him but show me a manager who has a 100% success rate now nards is available simon has gone and got him.... who knows if this wil come off but where would you rather be , Ko and MM up front all year?
Little remembered fact...and another BFC record
Nardiello was signedby both Gudjon and Hart before Ritchie.
Signed by 4 successiveBarnsley managers, now that HAS to be a record, maybe even across the whole football league

Paul Hart brought Nardiello to Barnsley at first not Gudjon Wasn't it something to do with Cryne being a mate of Fergie's?
I was 7 and it was a Gary Glitter 'concert', Alan offered a personal introduction back stage. I didn't have time as I had school in morning.
So You didn't want to be in his gang, his gang, you didn't want to be in his gang, oh no. Nurse, nurse ! Big Lil's forgotten to take his medicine again !!
Erm ..... nights! My old man used to hate nights at the pit - spent half his time asleep on top of the stack!

I think it's a good thing that when you forget your medication, you're immediately possessed by a third person who calls the nurse.
Just look who he brought in to score goals I rest my case. oh and no i dont expect a manager to have 100% success rate. But on the striker front have we had a 10% success rate under him?
