    Personally I think it’s a bad stand to rename.
    Let’s face it, it will always be ‘The Ponty End’

    It'd be nice to name it "The Full Ponty" complete with loads of singing. I tried to get a round of "Red Army" going yesterday, I think one other joined in. More life in a mortuary....

    Anyone remember the 4-1 victory over Ipswich in 2008 (Brian Howard hat-trick)? That night, The Ponty was really rocking, "Red Army" went on for half an hour and it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. What's changed?

    I just don't think we've had much to shout about in person at Oakwell for ages.

    Since promotion in 2018/19 we had the terrible pre-covid 2019/20 half a season. We then made an unbelievable effort to stop up - with no fans there. We did something even more unbelievable in 2020/21 and had an excellent season to reach the play-offs - again, with no fans there.

    Then, obviously, as soon as fans were allowed back into grounds we decided to have the worst season in living memory. And we've not torn any trees up so far this season in L1, although I'm relatively pleased overall.

    Not in favour of naming it but if it had to be I'd like to sit in the
    Norm & Ronnie Ponty End.
    Would puzzle a few away fans!
