it says BRADFORD City chairman Julian Rhodes has said his club would not have sold Dean Windass regardless of how much the Reds offered. Rhodes said: "I am pleased to say any possible deal is dead in the water. Gordon Shepherd asked me if it would have made any difference if Barnsley were to improve their offer and I said it wouldn't. "Dean is worth far too much to Bradford City and is far too important to us. Even if a fee had been agreed, I very much doubt Dean would want to go because he's very happy here."
