he seems to have picked up a bit of the work ethic of our hundarian duo - defending from the front etc - them coming in may have made him a better player - exactly what competition for places should do. he's always had the skill, but to me, hardly ever the passion - he may be turning it around.
alternatively with 4 games left, no contract offer on the table, he puts himself in the shop window for a move by turning it on against a promotion chasing club.
Spin, spin and thrice spin!

no problems for me if he is doing that cant blame him got to think of himself, he is playing for a new contract here or somewhere else
tis a good point owen, whatever it takes to get him playing well i dont cvare, when he's been under a lengthy contract he's done little, now he's turning it on - fantastic.
Thought he had a cracking game yesterday, whatever his resons. He backed up his undoubted ability with the required workrate. Lets hope its another end of season surge from him.
His Dad used to play for Coventry, didn't he? http://www.barnsleyfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/InsideOakwellDetail/0,,10309~1008759,00.html May offer some insight into his performance!
He seemed to put effort in against Leeds as well I was thinking that was because of his Man U connection
still does and at 105 years of age, has a higher work rate than his son. to be fair he played well ystdy. Worked hard and scored, all we need now is consistancy.
Seems to play well in the big games and when the pressure is on at the end of the season. He could be our big game player.
was gonna post the same - anyone who thought boulding was good is obviously deranged he hung his boots up not long ater he left us. Nads did well on saturday - looked a lot leaner and quicker.
RE: was gonna post the same - anyone who thought boulding was good is obviously deranged nardellio has got a heart the size of a pea that man
Comes good when it really matters ...and you're just bitter that he whipped the ass of your bum chum Boulding
