Just reading Gordon Shepherd's statement - incidentally, good that club has been so transparent about the details - and, whilst it says that he was expected to sign the waiting contract today and his agent seems to be saying that as well - nowhere does it actally say that he HAS signed for QPR. Almost seems like an impulse decision. Just wonder if a night in a noisy London hotel and the traffic scramble to get the Loftus Road will make him think twice again. Maybe we are in for a bit of brinkmanship with QPR being played off against the Reds. Is this the same agent who messed around with Shuker? The style is familiar. Unless QPR are just about to off-load Lee Cook (could be true), I don't see that they are in any better position than us financially. Big pressure for Nardiello if he is actually going to step into the popular shoes of Lee Cook. Think again, Danny boy. The pipes are definitely calling at Oakwell, not West London. Could he still be back, or will Manchester City and Portsmouth actually appear as the knights in shining armour at the last minute??
Still no mention on their site.......... do you think SD was winding GS up and he took the bait???? ..........
I'd like to think... that if he did turn around and decide he wanted to come back here, which 100% wont happen obviously, he'll tell him where he could stick his contract.
All I know, from the man himself, is that he only received the offer yesterday and he would have been a fool to turn it down.
if he only recieved it yesterday then he must only be going to QPR to sort out the details today.... he's going to sign for them so good luck to the fella, thanks for the effort you put in for us.......
more than one QPR fan thinks.................. he's using them to get a better deal from Coventry!!!! could get his fingers burnt if that's the case?
RE: more than one QPR fan thinks.................. well he hasnt signed QPR's contract yet i ssume ! lol he may be back in gords office by this afternoon !!
