Danny eyes fast return BARNSLEY manager Andy Ritchie told today how Daniel Nardiello is winning his fight for fitness. The striker was expected to be out for at least four weeks when he tore a hamstring, but he could come back ahead of schedule. It would mean a pre-Christmas return for Nardielllo - but the club will not be rushing him back and he has no chance of being ready for this Saturday's FA Cup tie against Bradford. "He's a little better than we thought he might be at this stage," Ritchie told The Star. "He must be a quick healer. We still have to make sure it's right. If you come back too soon after a hamstring injury, it can go again. "I would think he'll be a couple of weeks yet." So far, Nardiello has missed matches against Rotherham and Swindon. If he is fit in a fortnight, he could be in contention for the trip to Yeovil on December 17.
