"Stan tha lazy" witknackeredankleart
Normally heard from pie munching beer sodden middle aged lard butts

Do you mean collectively? Like a bunch of them fly really hard at the ball in the hope of bonking it into the nets? What is the collective noun for house martins anyway. I like birds.
There were 4 of them, that's simple mathematics. Mind, Ferenczi, Christiansen, Mostto and Odejayi haven't got near Nardiello's total for last year between them yet........
Can't use the Housemartins though, as Heaton's a sheff U fan, so they'd be booed routinely. Is that how it works then how many goals you scored during the odd short term purple patch?
What I might start is another perceived wisdom that the Borg on here can attach to. 'Howard only plays well when his hair's parted on the left'. Cos the Nardiello/April thing's been done to death.
as has the Nardiello is our saviour thing. It's like constantly telling Newcastle what an asset they've got in Micheal Owen, chances are is that they'll disagree. Personally I'm not questioning ability, as I haven't really seen enough of him, but there's a huge difference between the potential of a fit player and the potential of an unfit player. The potential of Nardiello, has never quite come off at any club he's been at. Surely we've learnt by that. Richard Kell had potential apparently. We have too many 'could do a job' players already, we need those that will do a job now.
We've had 1 quality striker this season - Macken The rest are keystone cops-esque. Coulson aside, naturally, who finished his 1 chance v Blackpool with more natural ability than the rest put together.
Funnily enough he's the only proven forward we've had in years. Not so surprising that he was a breath of fresh air really. I still like Stan, but his problem is, he hasn't quite balanced the chasing down everything versus reserving some energy for composure. Hence he plays 2 games every 90 minutes compared to most, so when he gets on the end of a chance he's got a cramp and a mouth full of vomit. I think he'll learn though. I think when he joined us, he probably couldn't believe how little commitment there was from the attack minded players so ended up doing 2 or 3 jobs at a time, you can't sustain that, but everyone hailed him as a hero and therefore he thinks that's expected every game. I will never boo Nardiellio if he comes back btw. Although the chances are he'd not hear me booing teletext.
