i am one of the biggest criticisers of nardi but today

he had the best game since his debut i thought. put his full effort in and won the ball allover the park. if you think that then you are spineless, petulant and a disgrace to barnsley fans. </p>

A strong young lad on a three year deal

Has disappointed after his successful loan spell at Blackpool but far from the finished article and I'm hopeful he can be coached into a good 'un.

No better than Richards tonight but certainly no worse. Can't see what the fuss is about.

    Short memories

Worst striker of the four currently in first-team contention, now that I'd struggle to argue against. But he's nowhere near the worst ever!

So why did we lose the impetus when he went off?

Ironically, Wright nearly scored with almost his first touch. Afer that, we had no quality whatsoever.

    Hayes plays too deep.

    RE: Short memories

Yeah point taken mate I know he's not the worst ever. But I'm just disappointed that when Ritchie had the chance to strenghthen our forward line we got Wright. His only attribute is his agression - usually misplaced. His first touch is awful, he can't shoot, pass, hold the ball up or even head it in the right direction.
If we mean business next year TWO forwards are an absolute must. Which means at least two have to go. Conlon will be one and Ritchie needs to admit his mistake and make Wright the other. I'd have Conlon on the bench on Monday before Wright, given the problems he has caused Hudders in the past.
