<font size="3">Whilst a lot of you seem to be getting wound up about him leaving I'm not so fussed myself. The following quote I've nicked from one of the mailing lists which I think sums it up perfectly: </font><font size="3">"I'm neither here nor there on what Nads has done. We all know he can be quite the striker when he decides to turn up, but quite frankly, he never did it enough times. I appreciate his goals in big games (play offs, away at Walsall, Dirty Leeds, etc) but the amount of times he did nought in nothing games were too numerous. " What was his scoring record since he's been with us by the way? What is it when you discount the games he was in the hunt for a contract? </font>
The only thing you've got to wonder though... Was Simon Davey finally doing what previous manager's couldn't manage - getting him to perform on a regular basis or was he simply upping his game for a new contract? We'll never know but I bet he'll perform in fits and starts at QPR as well.
