Just that - hope QPR dont mind him turning up 8 matches a season he wont be missed. Shame he didnt show the same loyalty that we did through all his injuries.
If you were offered more to work somewhere else would you take it? Can't think of any other hereason why he's gone there!
no, not if i enjoyed working where i was and the offer wasn't that much more. cost of living more in london, so has he really got more out of it?
You are going to learn that being a big keyboard warrior is not going to get you anywhere. The abuse being given to Nardiello is not warranted, he was not under contract at Barnsley, so he could do whatever he liked. The club dragged their feet over offering him a contract, they tried to make him sweat and force him into accept any contract offered. He played them at their own game and won. Good Luck to him.
Won? time will tell. Personally I doubt he'll make 20 odd games next season and probably did not fancy the competition for a start he would be up against at Oakwell.
RE: Won? I dont think the competition is that hot ??? Hope they all get off to a flyer and we can get on with life in the Championship
Competition is competition lets face it he only had to compete against Hayes, Richards & Wright for most of the last 2 seasons and still had limited appearances even when "fit". All I can say for his "competition" this season is Odejayi who has scored more league 1 goals than danny boy in any one season, Ferenczi who has a better goals per game ratio than danny last season and hopefully Mostto who knows where the onion bag is. Dont get me wrong, on his day Nardiello was a decent (though little more) forward though no better than Andy Rammel or Saville for instance. Trouble was Nardiello's good games were few and far between. Would have been a useful squad member next season but no more.
