    Once he got the ball you could see there was only one thing in his mind, "get in the box and wait to get knocked over - Penalty." He had ample time to pull it back but his expression said it all.

    All the doubters can say what they like but he got us there single handed today.

    Agree he did brilliantly for the pen but...

    I really cant agree with you there
    He scored one goal and he missed more chances than Richards does in a month. had he stuck a couple of them away earlier we wouldnt have had to endure so much worry second half

    Yes he did. From where we were, it looked as if he done a blatant dive, but I was assured he was indeed 'hacked down'

    No it really was a pen

    Straight in front of me and their guy lunged in and took Nads leg - no doubt he played for it but they were daft enough to fall for it

    Yep he certainly held on to the ball until someone went for him, and that's just what they did.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking anything away from anyone over the season as a whole. What I was trying to say (badly) was that it was his single minded action that won us the penalty, the game and as a result a play-off spot.
