from official site ANXIOUS WAIT FOR QPR CHAMPIONSHIP rivals QPR could be in hot water with the Football League following an agreement with Oldham Athletic, according to reports. The Sunday Mirror reads: QUEENS Park Rangers face being relegated from the Championship or handicapped with a severe points deduction when the Football League board meet on Thursday. The League is furious that QPR seriously breached their rules by entering into an illegal loan agreement with League One Oldham. Article continues Advertisement They borrowed £500,000 against the future sale of 24-year-old winger Lee Cook. The Football League has ordered QPR to repay the money. But QPR's financial crisis has deepened leaving them in a perilous position after the original cheque they issued to - repay Oldham bounced. However, QPR chairman Gianni Paladini insisted last night: "We paid the cheque to Oldham on Friday. I can tell you now that everything is satisfactory." A Football League source said: "We have unlimited powers to take an acceptable course of action in the case of QPR."
A QPR Points Reduction Would Help Us Out......... http://www.oldhamathletic-mad.co.uk/news/loadnews.asp?cid=TMNW&id=343070
oh dear, the season has not started and you already feel we need help from other teams...how sad we are gonna do way better than last season
well I look at the league in 3 groups of 8... top 8 the real contenders, middle 8 the good solid championship clubs, bottom 8 the dogfight zone. I cannot see any reason that a middle 8 finish is beyond us , this would show progress and would satisfy me, anything more would be great, and lets face it in that middle 8 you can have a top half finish.
it makes you wonder............. if the finances are in disarray , losing money each week , owners want to sell up -who -and for what reason-sanctioned the signing of nardy on what must be fairly high wages?
