Nathan Doyle, would be a good player for Huddersfield. Liked him a lot at Oakwell. Hammill, wasn't he on the bench a lot last season. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goran_Lovre , if that's to be believed that he's hardly played since leaving Oakwell.
If this is correct then Hudds are making a mistake. Both players are not good enough at this level. Hamill flattered to deceive and Doyle never flattered. Carry on like this and Hudds will be going down
I didn't mind Doyle, obviously Hammill was quality but think we looked at Lovre with red-tinted specs on - he was very average.
Think he just needs a run of games, he's not had that since he was with us. Being completely out of a team or coming off the bench now and again just doesn't suit players like him who rely on instinct alone.
Didnt Coventry go down with Martin Cranie in their side in 38 matches ? Is Cranie poor in your opinion?
correct mark. Warnock took a load a few players from Palace to Qpr when they only just stopped up (yes they had a points deduction) and then they went up. Hill and Derry been two.
Wolves didnt play Hamill because he wasnt good enough. They sussed him out when theyd bought him. Coventry kept Crainie and played him....They also had no option to buy anyone else as they were completely skint. Different scenario entirely.
Robbins got Hammill playing the best football of his career at Oakwell. Would more than likely be a great signing for them. He might have lost some of his hunger though, because he has already had his big money premier league move.
Well to be honest I'm not really bothered what Hudds do as long as we push on... I am certain that we will be ok next season and will surprise some other teams and the bookies too
Hammill is a good player at this level but Doyle? He found his level with Bradford in the fourth division. He's just not good enough for the championship IMO.
Course he was, time will tell if he's still got it. This news suggests he was their second choice after Dale Jennings. Let's pinch him as well.
