hes still a free agent and I believe hes exactly the type of player we Need at oakwell

Digby Hourihane Abbott Bree all like to get on the ball and pass it. We need another type of player in their. Someone to help the team and win quick ball back. Someone that will put their body on the line and maybe might get hurt and possibly get yellow cards for the team if needed.

The club seem to be interested in this kind of player with the Rumor that Danny Wilsons interested in David Davies, No not the MP but former Chesterfield loanee and the Wolves midfielder.

If played properly Emmanuel would have been a great asset to the team. He wasn't and left. I wouldn't worry about him.

I agree HT. He would definitely be worth a look. Hundred times better than the ***** we replaced him with.

    Doesn't make him any good.

A midfielder who didn't tackle and couldn't pass. Kelvin Etuhu but with extra BMI.

He could tackle. It's Dawson or Perkins you're thinking of.

He couldn't. He just got in the way.

Exactly what the other two did.

Reading the Bradford forum when he was released they thought he could pass the ball well.

You could have him with a Doyle Digby or Hourihane. He can play in a there. He also could play in a 3 if Wilson wants at a Preston or a Sheffield united when he might be edging and thinking a draw might be a decent result.

Wilson talked about square pegs in round holes and all that after the Halifax match. He did it last season in a few games and he did it on Saturday. Digby and Abbott aren't defensive when you only have 50% of the ball. Okay if you are having 70% of it though.

Come on Dyson, he could tackle. He was tough.

Did they even manage that? Irrelevant now anyway as they are gone thankfully.

I would like to see us take a look at Nate Dawg.

    Don't agree Mario.

I'm always looking at the balance of the team and at Watford, Huddersfield and Doncaster it was horrible.

It's something that any team needs. u16 u18 u21 first team.

It's a problem you see at u21 football. They just pick 11 players and sometimes they are shocking matches because of the balance of the team.

He was unfit & unmotivated Phil. Nothing to do with balance of the team.

Good player, undoubtedly. We just never saw it.

    None of them could tackle.

Doyle occasionally got in the way, but like Dawson his tackles were more often than not reckless and fouls. Perkins did well getting in the faces of the opposition, but again, tackling wasn't his strong point. I think Frimpong against Millwall and Hassell against Leeds were the only tackling, defensive midfield displays I saw last season.

On Saturday's viewing, Abbott and Digby reminded me of David Fox. They're not holding midfielders and if we play one of them alongside Hourihane we'll be bullied out of every game. Is Doyle the solution to that? I dunno, but I'd say it's unlikely. Oh for a Darren Sheridan...
