I think this lad (Nathan James) could do with another run out at centre back He did very well at beginning of the season, but he seems to have dropped off the radar after that. Depending on who we sign, I think he could do a job replacing J Williams and let Jordan go to right wingback.

I think if he could do a job in the first team, he would have been in or around the squad (assuming he's not injured)

Why did you leave out the Tunchatchawan of his name?

Are you sure you're not thinking of Jack Shepherd, who played a handful of league games at the start of the season, instead of Nathan James who has played less than 90 minutes of competitive first team football? James does look a promising young defender, and will I'm sure get his chance, but I don't think he's what we're missing at centre half at present.

Aye, he's been gone too long.

James really impressed me in those cameos, especially that tackle when he was last man (forget against who). Would have liked to have seen more but looks like perhaps another situation where the less we see him play the better he is. Definitely seems one for future though.

Your probably right Archey, I must be thinking of the cup games, but he did very well when he played.
As for Shepherd, he looked good in the early games, but went to pieces somewhat when we brought him back a few games ago.

For me Nathan James had a very impressive game against Hull City in the away friendly and then looked a bit lost in another game where a mistake led to an opposition goal. Whether it was his mistake is debatable. A few of us on here were waxing lyrical about him at the time.

Nathan James had a bad injury. I don’t know when he’s due back.
