Taking lad for a day out in Manchester today, he was 18 yesterday. Anyone been to the museum? I've always wanted to go but one of them things I never got round to.

    Any good ?

Loved it when it was Deepdale. It used to be free when it was there, not sure now though. Haven't been since it moved to Manchester.

There's the Classic football shirt shop in Manchester too. I always make a pilgrimage there, even though I rarely buy owt. Last time I went they had a 93/94 Barnsley home shirt, but I couldn't bring myself to part with £110. They had the isoft home shirt too, which was much cheaper but I've never been a fan of that one.

Was brilliant when it was at Deepdale. Always used to take the lad in when we played at Preston. I imagine it’ll be similar now if not better.

Been a few times, really good. Went last week though and the cafe has been closed down and the whole of the top floor was closed for a change of display. That was disappointing, because that's the hall of fame. Sure you'll still enjoy it though. Plenty of decent food and drinks in the Printworks which is opposite the museum.

Was really good. £12 in each and a free ticket to return in next 12 months. We'll go again when the closed floor reopens. Some of the items are incredible.

My favourite was the white knitted top with blue knitted 3 lions from the first international match of England v Scotland. Wonder r'much that'd go for ?!?

Well worth a visit. Few BFC bits but the best one is a silver cigarette case/tin from 1912 adorned on the top with an action FOTO from the match. Recommended.
