Hopefully after this crisis is over , the essential key workers on minimum / low wage will get rewarded with a decent living wage

Would imagine it would still go ahead as the work to implement it has probably already been done.

Knowing our tory friends, I would imagine that when this crisis is over it’ll be payback time for the working class. I also get the feeling that Wetherspoons and Sports Direct will somehow manage to be alright Jack!

It’s obvious we will have to pay a bit more in tax at the end of the day they have guaranteed us 80% wages to keep us in work

Maybe those of us who are having to go out to work through this should be exempt from that!

I'd rather be at work earning 100% than at home on significantly below the minimum wage

    It was tounge in cheek.
It's hard for everyone. I would rather be at home on 80%pay. My wife is having to look after out 2 disabled kids while I go to work. Her mum is still coming over to help out as she is a carer for one them. She a healthy 64 year old and has no issues with health at all but still we would rather no have to put her in that position.

Honestly a bit humour and sarcasm is all I have to avoid the stress of the situation. What am mindful of is how much worse things are for a lot of people.
