Currently sitting in our room, window wide open, watching the most wonderful full moon rising up from the sea towards Ravenscar across the bay.
It popped up over the horizon about 9.30, a vivid deep orange leaving a shimmering path on the sea. It's still rising but has turned to a pale gold. The path on the sea is rippling gold.
Sadly my expertise as a photographer is nil when it comes to trying to capture this. Somebody somewhere will have got it.
So we are having simply to gaze at this beautiful sight.
And then they say that later there will be the meteor show !
