    What a wonderful part of the World!
    Last time we stopped in Grasmere we were in the Daffodil. Nice hotel but a bit overpriced.

    Slap bang in the centre overlooking the little green.

    The hotels and guest houses are still closed until Monday.

    After that we reckon it's going to be heaving up here.

    I have some lovely but sad memories of Grasmere.
    One of the last places we visited before my old doggy Brad died in Windermere at the vets.
    We still use cutlery bought at the little kitchen-type shop next to the Heaton Cooper gallery.
    On our wall is this print. Are you anywhere near this scene?
