Taken yesterday. He is not much bigger than a blackbird and has his favourite tree down the lane from which he squeaks loudly every evening. Fortunately I had my camera and he seemed quite happy to pose as I managed to get quite close, about fifteen feet away. Interesting how the camera flash gives him red eye. Hope it comes out ok.
Cracking shot of a beautiful bird. The redeye can be processed out but for me it adds something to the image.
Actually Mr Badger it's rubbish...Owls in Sheffield are massive at the side of ours..this is my mate flying his Little Owl in his garden at Parson's Cross.
That's the sort of owl that'll be in Europe in three years, it's so massive. I prefer our quiet, understated owl.
Any chance of letting me know where it is mr badger? My wife is a wildlife photographer and would love to have a gander.
