plenty of good sized tomatos on six plants but not turning red, any ideas please (its my first time).
If they are big enough you can take them inside and ripen them in a paper bag on a sunny windowsill. OUrs aren't red yet and they are going a bit mushy inside. Anyone know why things go mushy ? Don't normally touch salad but can't grow chocolate biscuits sadly.
plenty of time yet.
Have you
nipped tops out after 5 or 6 trusses?
started to remove bottom leafs up one leaf a week, or so?
Ordered sunshine to ripen em?
just leave them , they will go red, if youwant red ones now takesome off and put em on thi window sill in the sun.. 2 -3 days they will be red.. my outdoor ones use to be mushy.. not enough sun /too much water I think.
did some in g/house this year and they started getting blight.. managed to salvage most of the crop though... (y)
