After the Reading player was sent off why not go attacking straight away and put another striker on?
Mr. Davey seems to wait until the 70th mintue to change things around and go attacking, by that time we were 1-0 down.

Cureton isnt getting any service, since brian howard left (cant believe im saying this) there is no creativity from CM, all we seamt to do was get it wide to Whalley and JCR who crossed the ball into two strikers who are neither bigger than six foot! to see it cleared by Michael Duberry.
    Whats the point in that?

Jon macken - surely as a striker he needs to be in and around the box! For me he deserves just as much criticism as any other player!

Denis souza - What on earth was he doing for there goal!? Truely shocking and maybe lacking in confidence?
Hasnt looked the same player since moore got injured!

    Anything else?

    We ran Reading VERY close

Only 1-0, so I can't see the sense in SD throwing caution to the wind too early in the game. Let's be honest, we would all have been happy with a 0-0 draw - and a defensive lapse cost us in the end...

Could have still gone more attacking and gone for the win!
It was there for the taking today and we didnt grasp it.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

You're right, but I think Reading are dangerous opposition and there is always the danger they could have picked us off if we threw too many players forward. Had it been 0-0 with 10 minutes to go, it would have been interesting to see if SD had gone for the win. I think both coaches would have taken a draw - as neither goalkeeper looked in a rush to take the goal kicks all afternoon.
