Negativity shown by all at Oakwell breeds negativity in the fanbase...FACT!

Board-negative, sell best assets for 10 bob and a blackies egg and consistantly fail to strike a sellable rapport with the public of Barnsley by the clubs general anonymity. Small club approach not helped by a small club director in Don Rowing (last at Scunny, i rest my case)
Management team- started brightly but have now obviously lost the plot with shoddy signings, bizarre team selections and negative tactics against fellow struggling teams.

The people of Barnsley want to see something that gives them,1-entertainment and 2-hope for the future of this club. Niether have been offered since the team was ripped apart in Jan. The pittance recieved for Vas Te sums our board up totally,pi$$-poor!

If these two things are not breeding negativity in the fanbase then i don't know what is!

 

So where the hell were the people of Barnsley before Xmas when we were playing the best football we've played in years?

 

Thgey probably went to the Southampton and Middlesboro matches , along with the League cup match, if they went to any of those 3 and did not have a season ticket, then I can understand why they have not been back. Also I dont think we were fantastic every match either before xmas, we played well in some games , but were still poor in others.

 

It's just this myth that the crowds will come flooding back if we play good football that I dont agree with. Short of winning promotion or being up and around the promotion places at the back end of the season we will have to get by on crowds of around 10,000.
