Sentiment is right, but he needs to pick his words a bit more carefully. The retards that get involved will just interpret that as a free pass.
Any trouble on Sunday and both Harris and his club should be brought to account. If Millwall lose and there is also trouble, will it be Harris' last act as Millwall manager. Where are the decent Millwall fans? I do know some.
There does always seem to be a bit of a wall of silence over Millwall. The stuff their fcuktard element gets up to is always reported, but never acted on as far as I can see. Have they got some kind of immunity against prosecutions?
That's because it's only a lot of arm waving, like on that video in the report? No police and only a bit of mesh separating them from the opposing fans yet they can't break through it.
I thought 'hostile' was a word consigned to the 70s and 80s. I thought 'Respect' was the word which is supposed to be describe football today. He should be hauled before the FA's Disciplinary Committee for inciting 'hostility' and thereby bringing the game into disrepute.
Bit of an overaction to his comments there. He's just saying support your team. I hope we create a hostile environment for the Millwall team with our songs and bandinage doesn't mean I'm looking for a scrap
We know what he's trying to say, it's just an unfortunate choice of words for a club with their rep. Given that the club do little to publicly condemn any of the incidents, though, it's not hugely surprising.
Daft word to use though I would say in the context of the stuff at Bradford and their last trip to Wembley.
I agree Hecky used intimidating atmosphere for away clubs at oakwell the other day No difference , just basically saying get behind the team Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's a poor choice of words given the club's reputation, the coin chucking against Bradford and what happened last time they were at Wembley. I would put it down to an honest mistake but there's also this: "Harris said of the misbehaviour: "I have been to Wembley and seen much worse but I am not condoning it.”" You aren't condoning it? You are downplaying it and deliberately avoiding any form of criticism. Tw*t.
