If very hypothetically your daughter still has a laptop from school which she should have taken back but hasn't (she left a year ago), can she be removed as a user of it wirelessly by the network administrator? In this very hypothetical scenario she can't get into the chuff using her old logon details! </p>

    nope

Not unless she went back to the school with it and into range of the schools wirelss network.

Course there could be a timeout on the login/password though.

In the unlikely event your hypothetical situation came true - would the laptop be connected to a a domain?

    There's two options

To log on to 'this computer' or the school domain. Just tried 'this computer' but not accepting the logon details. Now we've realised she still has it we're going to take it back on monday but tried it just out of curiosity.
