Never met or spoken to the guy but.....

...it seems to me that Hemsworth Tyke talks utter b*llox much of the time and many of his posts seem to 'defend the indefensible' when it comes to Barnsley FC and football in general.
His latest 'utterings' seems to imply you cannot say today's performance was bad if you were not there in spite of the stats, e.g. 5-1, 33% possession etc etc show that we were inferior in all departments.

 

All i will say.
I get really frustrated when people start with the negative **** that comes out every time we've lost.

I would love to read what a barnsley fan whos been down at the ground says.

I've spoken to a few people who say annoys them.

Folks get pissed of with the always positive **** too.

Middle ground is whats needed.

 

HT..........our away from is cr@p and we concede far too many early goals which puts us on the back foot.

Today was a classic example.

Add into this we concede 5 goals and have ~30% posession, I really can't see how anyone can talk anything but negative (whether they have been to game or not).

 

Then read the post on ja606 about the reds fan who left ver early saying its one of the worse defensive displays he's ever seen. With other departments equally inept. He also says we will finish bottom, easily. Go read it

I got annoyed with Perkins at Leicester, i bet sadbrewer thought i was some mad mark character but i will never post on here because of the OTT comments about him from some.

 

If thats it then there isn't any excuses.

 

Hassell was just a fishing excursion to prove your guy is better than him.

 

If you get annoyed with Barnsley but post defending them instead of posting your true feelings then doesnt that make you a bit of an hypocrite? Slating anyone who dares be annoyed whilst secretly sat there really angry

That is a bit of a bizarre argument. We should play stones now because in ten years he will be better than Hassell.

The little lad next door to me might be better than Hassell in 20 years and Stones in 10 but I think it would be a bit foolish to put a 9 year old in the Barnsley side next week.

My opinion is that Stones shows great potential and I am certain he will be a brilliant player but at the moment Bobby Hassell is the better player due to his vast experience.
