you think that was bad, i was sat in the west lower, missed the majority of the 2nd half frozen to death
can you blame players for having one eye on Wembley? Every fckng ' fan' has. Our league position reflects our support quite aptly. Abysmal.
agreed You cant make or expect folk to be as keen as most of us are but surely they look at the league table and realise our predicament. Its beyond me how folk can turn their support on and off when it suits them. We needed the fans today, It may have made a difference to one or two players performances and would have given us some credibilty rather than us being the usual laughing stock.
the club could have put another 5,000 on the gate today easily if they had organised wembley ticket sales differently.
Ticket situation didn't help Think a lot wanted to go, but couldn't get in. I couldn't believe when it when I walked in though, I was expecting at least 18k-19k
no by making it 1 Sheff utd ticket for every add on wembley ticket bought in the 55 45 and 35 areas at Wembley.
no, by not giving season ticket holders 4 tickets, instead of the part timers getting tickets handed to them the club could have said anyone with a sheff utd stub gets priority after season ticket holders who only get 2 tickets.
nonsense, i easily got a tickt from the box office on thurs and i live 100+ miles away, just turned up and collected it before the game, anyone who seriously wanted to go could have easily atrranged to get a ticket, lets not make excuses for the glory seekers, if they were commited fans they would have got a ticket, i expect theve already got their wembley tickets
RE: Ticket situation didn't help Another consideration... We have one guaranteed and possibly 2 trips to Wembley coming up in next few weeks. Even if you don't stop over it's going to be a £100 -£150 day out (ticket, travel, food, beer, souvenirs etc). There will have been a number of fans who missed today because of this very fact.
No, not nonsense People have posted on here how disappointed they were not to get a ticket for today.
RE: the club could have put another 5,000 on the gate today easily Could have let people pay be on the day aswell. They seem to paranoid about trouble. A lot of people may fancy leaving it to the last minute before deciding whether to go. It limits your options on the day of the match.
well they obviously didnt try very hard then did they, ******* if i live 100+ miles away and can sort it out...............
RE: well they obviously didnt try very hard then did they, ******* got to agree got one by phone absoluteley no problem.
probably the police who insisted on it being all ticket, and fans were given plenty of warning just couldnt be bothered some of em could they
How hard should they have to try? I for one had no idea it was all ticket today - it was never gonna be a sell out and therefore I can't see why there would be a problem making tickets available (at least) at the box office. One guy (telephoned the radio station today) said he travelled up from Bristol & they wouldn't sell him a ticket this morning. That's a rediculous situation. Why does BFC insist that customers have to constantly "jump through hoops."
it's been on the official web site, other similar games ie Weds were all ticket not saying i agree they should be but if the descision has been made, and the club have publicised the fact then fans need to get their act into gear, it is stupid that a game when the stadium is only half full is all ticket but thats life, this fact alone wouldnt have added another 5k onto the gate and a gaste of 20k for a local derby should be regarded as pretty poor
