TheFlash.. Did you just see that 2nd replay? The ball went a long long way off his foot and it was a blatantly good challenge. Never a penalty in a million years, and trust me, I criticise/dislike Man U as much as the next person.
Agree. Gutted for the lad when he's made a fantastic goal saving tackle.
Its about time some people sat down and looked at some of the ancient rules still in the game. Why can't the ref just say in his report that he got it wrong and the card be overturned?

Totally Agree Refs will always get things wrong from time to time. When it is so obviously an injustice, especially with so much at stake, why can't they have a look at it and allow an appeal. Barmy!
fabregas actually fell over his leg, as he no doubt has been taught by a cheating frenchman who allegedly likes little b**s (ooopppps, thats me banned...)
Agree with you - and the poor lad misses the final now Wonder how you are supposed to have respect when - to take too random examples 1. A player deliberately elbows an opponent in the head almost killing him - yellow card no further action clear mistake by the ref - idiotic rule saying that no matter what other evidence the referee is right 2. A player makes a goal saving challenge - ref makes a mistake - he gets sent off and will now miss the champions league final here we have too idiotic rules i idiotic rule saying that no matter what other evidence the referee is right ii surely even if he had missed the ball he made a clear attempt to play it so a red card as well as the penalty is a disproportionate punishment - I thought the intention of the red card was for deliberate foul play - ie handling the ball on the line, bringing down the opposition player when no chance of getting the ball. Oh and I wanted Arsenal to win that game and have no Man U sympathies in general
