I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and presume you've missed the posts about my disability that means I have to miss most of the matches.

Daft thing is that (see my post ont other thread re wall painting/small steps etc) if a mural appeared post season with 100's of kids faces on ........ then if they were unveiled on Open Day then 1000's of xtra folk would attend IMHO.

If my lads face was on a mural he'd have 3-4 grandparents, his mum and partner attend just to look. They'd not have attended otherwise.

Engage the local community. We're getting better.... but

Only slightly. I have circulation problems (Raynaud's) so I just can't go out in cold weather for long (or even short when it's really cold) amounts of time. I also get problems in my knee which causes me pain to drive and walk when a change in weather occurs and is incredibly painful in winter and causes me to hobble when I walk. My classroom is quite often colder than it should be so I cannot use my hands and have to get the kids to help me even when I'm inside, this is obviously made much worse when I have been on duty that day or just simply been out to collect them from the playground. The worst times are when I have to take the children outside for 'outdoor learning' even in winter. We are expected to go outside almost all day for a week each term.

i've only had Marc Jr. for 1 season, so will be interesting to see how things pan out and what works for me on a match day. At the mo, i'd settle for baby changing facilities that are more than a bog seat

I heard that at the start of 90/91 season someone dropped a lemon Opel Fruit while having a piss in west stand bogs, Rumour went round that the club had spent some money on ground improvements thinking it was a Urinal odour control Pineapple cube, people started panicking thinking we was about to sell our best player, to pay for them, you could cut the tension with a knife, Ponty end started singing don't sell Currie, David Currie, I just don't think you understand, that if you sell Currie, David Currie you're going to have a riot on your hands, so from that day to this, the club haven't made any improvements to the West Stand Bogs in case people start burning stuff and ripping seats out.

Don't know how true it is but that's what I heard

Glad to see the kids helping - kids are great aren't they? :) Do you teach in EYFS - just asking because of the outdoor learning?
