If the club say that they are wanting to appoint an experienced manager but he won't be in place until after the new year, they could create quite a difficult situation. What if the team under Simon Davey go on to win say 3 out the next 6 fixtures with 1 draw and 2 defeats? I would say that would be good enough form for most teams in this division and would set us up nicely for the 2nd half of the season to remain in this league. Do the board then continue to bring in an experienced manager who would want to put his own stamp on the team and could disrupt any possible good work? To leave things until after the new year is unacceptable.. 6 league matches away and a possible 18 points. Either bring someone in now or appoint davey until the end of the season for me.
Hasn't done Wednesday any harm appointing Laws after their Academy Manager did such a great job after Sturrock was sacked.
