Another adaptation from one of his books is now available. One of his best in my opinion. It’s called Missing You.
I’ve been reading a kit him the morning on the sky news app, I’ve not watched any of his hits for a few years but think I may give this a go
Are all (how many) episodes available? I like these Coben series, usually a good watch and keeps the interest through the series.
Watched 3 last night, final 2 tonight. Then onto either Black Doves or The Rig (Season 2). Enjoyed what I've seen so far in the first 3 episodes. Plenty of twists to come in the final 2 I feel.
Always gets me why majority of his shows are filmed & based in England when the author is American Not complaining mind you since it makes them more real.
Yes her storyline was excellent and so unexpected. Looking like the perfect marriage with two kids them all of a sudden her husband hits her and it's made clear it's not the first time, to show that people can put on fronts and you don't know what's going off behind closed doors. She was great in The Decameron as well. A pretty funny show where people tried to avoid something that can kill. Reminded me of covid times.
Binge watched 'Missing You'. It was good, but i found the 'Fool Me Once' series last year better. Just personal taste. What is coincidental i was browsing for something to put on TV this morning as a 'see what this is like for an hour' kinda thing. So the series i started is called The Innocent on Netflix. Spanish but dubbed perhaps as well as it could be. Into Episode 4 as it gripped me. I was thinking these twists and turns match up to any Coben series only to discover it is actually a Harlan Coben book adaptation. Havent finished yet but so far it has all the plot twist fun to entertain. Slipped through the net for me originally when released.
They’re not all filmed in the UK, but the most popular ones adapted for Netflix are. There are some Polish, Spanish, and French adaptations too, and I believe one is currently being made in the US. There’s also another being filmed in the UK (I assume it will come out on New Year’s Day next year). I guess it depends which production company gets the deal, but I like the fact that all the UK ones seem familiar and connected, even though they aren’t. Most of them have been filmed in the North West and Richard Armitage is in quite a few. For those that might not have seen them all, the UK ones are: The Five Safe The Stranger Stay Close Fool Me Once Missing You
