    Good Business !!

And that is exactly why OUR board are utterly clueless in football management and business forsight, i just wish GS would do the decent thing and get shut of Davey, install a experienced manger to help us in League 1 next seasonh, and give the fans some hope, because currently there is none, only apathy.

    Only good business

If they get promoted and Ridsdale doesn't end up getting another club into a financial mess.

It doesn't look like they'll go up this season.

I wouldn't like to say which way it will go for Cardiff. The gamble may pay off, or they may crash financially. I'll watch with interest.

The clause will come into play if they dont go up. Chopra will be off to the premiership and they will have an extra £5million to strengthen for the next season.

    Excellent timing by Cardiff.

Makes a mockery of the McIndoe " You can go if someone with a nice smile offers you some sweets and me a lolly" clause doesnt it??

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

Chopra's rubbish. I'd start with Nardiello.

    Oh, the memories.

A bit more luck than planning though

The fact that Cardiff had the opportunity to insert this clause is down to his agent getting a 20 goal re-negotiation clause in there at the beginning and now Chopra is on a much improved deal to the one we couldn't afford in the first place.

Yes when you know you've got a cracking striker it's a very good idea to get a clause in there to tie him to the club, given the opportunity I think most clubs would do this, but they've had to improve his contract to do it and ion the back of a clause he put in. If someone had come in for him in November with a low offer and Cardiff needed the cash, he'd have been off just like McIndoe. Trouble is most clubs don't get a chance to insert clauses like this when they realise other clubs are likely to be after their best players.
