New Functionality - Like / Dislike / Thanks Posts

    Andytyke has provided us with a LIke/ Dislike / THanks mod for the forum.

    You will see the following buttons at the bottom of a post:

    [​IMG] T [​IMG] L [​IMG] D

    By clicking on one of them you will give a Thanks / Like / Dislike post to a post/user.

    You will see there is now a running tally of these in your profile and next to your avatar.

    When you get thanked you get a notification in your PM inbox. How do you turn that off or haven't you sorted that yet :)

    can't turn off the notification. is it really that annoying to find out who liked your post or to know that someone disliked your post.

    I think we should add the STFU button

    I've just thanked,liked ,disliked, unthanked ,unliked,undisliked your post........does that mean you get 6 notifications?

    Even with notifications switched off you can still check whenever you want in your profile to see if anything you said has been liked. It's not a popularity contest on here so i'm not like "OMG someone liked a post of mine".

    Unfortunately there's no way to turn them off, but having the notification highlighted doesn't stop you from using the forum and no ones making you click it.

    It's not about popularity. Have you never made a post that got no replies yet about 60 view and wondered if anyone agreed with you. Some members maybe can't be arsed to post but may click the like dislike buttons
