    bet they don't build one in Cawthorne.

    Has a planning application been made and approved?

    You do know that the law requires local authorities to provide space for travellers don't you? They have to go somehwere but nowhere near anyone it seems.

    They're not 'Travellers' - they're Pikey's ..... Your comments are so fecking naive its frightening - I've seen the scummy mess these dirtballs leave behind .... crime goes up and all around they leave a fecking mess that we - not them - have to pay for ..... is that politically correct enough for you ???

    These laws about having a site every so many miles were made when they travelled about on horse and carts and the horses needed feeding and watering every so often. Now they're all in Range Rovers and 4x4's it seems a bit ridiculous to have the same laws being bandided about. Also, thereev speaks some sense. The council never ever approve gypsy camps on the west side of town for fear of upsetting the local gentry. Why do Wombwell, Darfield and now Ardsley have to bear the brunt of the thieving gets. These poeple have created a steroetype and live up to it. Look at the mess they made on the old Barnsley Main site - cost the council £1,000's to clean up and then they pinched all the wooden fencing from Pit Lane where they were encamped. They contribute nowt to society so why do we have to put up with em.
