ok i got my new ipod nano today and my first ever, i put my songs on it (somehow it automaticly did it for me), it put ALL music off my computer, which i dont want. Any1 know how to delete songs off your ipod? and another question, for example i bought a new CD or downloaded it from somewhere and i wanna know how to add it onto my itunes and then ipod, these questions may sound stupid to you... this is realy ticking me off

    thanks

If you buy a new CD

Just put it in the drive when you have iTunes open and it will ask if you want to add the CD to iTunes click yes and it does the rest for you. Next time you plug the iPod into the computer it will automatically sync and put the new tunes onto the iPod.

I take it you have downloaded iTunes onto your pc?

On the left side of the iTunes window you'll see that the top heading says "Library", under that it'll say "Music", click on this and to the right will be all the music you have on your ipod. each track will have a tick box next to it, untick all the songs you don't want on your ipod. Once you've done that reattach your ipod to the computer and when it appears in the left side menu under "devices", click on it then click "sync" on the bottom right of your screen.

New cds will rip straight to iTunes when you put them into your computer and will already be ticked, next time you snc your ipod they'll be added., anything you download just highlight the file, right click and "copy" then paste to the Library.

    Hope this helps.

Are you in the Music Library (left hand side menu "music")?
