    Turned down Middlesborough's offer so I don't think we could tempt him. Plus I keep reading Chelsea are suppose to be after him.

    I actually think there is something in this one. After all, they may well need to have fewer foreign players if the rules change and one position in which you can do this and still leave wider options is goalie.

    Watch him sign for Chelsea!

    Peter Taylor picked him for the England U21's didn't he? ....

    .... and then was Palace manager when he signed him, so obviously thought he was buying a big name for the future.

    It was a better deal for us than them, although he never seemed to be given much of a chance down there, maybe will come good again if he gets a regular game somewhere
