"BARNSLEY Football Club can confirm that the Reds will wear a brand new commemorative kit for our historic FA Cup Semi Final against Cardiff City at Wembley Stadium on Sunday April 6, 2008.

The brand new red kit will be produced specially for the game at Wembley - and we will have a sneak peak on www.barnsleyfc.co.uk soon!!!

Barnsley Football Club are hoping to have the new kit, production and delivery pending, on sale in the Reds Superstore prior to the big game."

Can't the profit from this be used to fund Luke Steele's wages?

Sounds like they are building up to it being our big day

When they should be keeping as low key as possible and win the game to get to the final. Then they can have a commemorative kit.

    Same kit manufacturer ?

Thought they couldn't agree to supply any more for this season only a few weeks back ?

It'll probably just have FA Cup semi finalists stitched above badge.

Are we non-league or Championship ?

Pitch invasions when we beat a bigger team, special kits for the big day out in the city.

Are they producing a phrasebook for us as well ?

All the while, league status hanging by a thread. Fcking ****.

    "Low key" ? lol

noted SD's comments on Beeb on Saturday. He doesn't want the FA Cup match mentioned til two days before. So much so that he fails to mention the FA Cup once in his post-match (Palace) comments.

    Barnsley manager Simon Davey:
"I'll take nothing away from them, it's been a hard month.

"The schedule takes it's toll and with the cup exploits maybe there is a bit of mental fatigue.

"Nobody's got their shirts for the FA Cup game yet, we have to keep picking up points. We won't talk about Wembley until two days before the game."

God forbid if we get to the final, what else can they sell. Theres nothing like shamelessly exploiting the fans

I know, I wish we'd never even entered the sodding cup, all the bother it's causing.....

Crying out loud, what's there to moan about?

But surely it would be historic if we HADN'T done it before. But we have. More than once.

Now if they'd put "historic first appearance at the new Wembley" then I would not be so pedantic. But I am.

Can't the profit from this be used to fund Luke Steele's wages?

    For a whole season?

Sorry, what I was trying to say was...

.... the problem is what his wages will be for the new contract.
